Description

ARCS is seeking an experienced and mission-driven professional to lead program coordination across humanitarian initiatives, ensuring effective planning, implementation, partner alignment, and timely reporting.

Role Overview

The Senior Program Coordinator will support end-to-end oversight of humanitarian programming, coordination with field teams, and delivery against approved plans. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong operational discipline with a deep understanding of humanitarian impact.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate implementation plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives and regions.
Track progress, risks, and bottlenecks while maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality narrative updates, dashboards, and donor-facing reports when required.
Support cross-functional collaboration between field teams, operations, finance, and leadership.
Ensure programs align with approved standards, compliance expectations, and humanitarian principles.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, development studies, management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in program coordination, project delivery, or humanitarian operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Dari and/or Pashto would be highly valuable.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and deadlines with clear structure.
Experience working with reporting frameworks, partner coordination, and field-based program support.
